Just spent four hours trying to add a new Google Nest WiFi Router to my Verizon Fios fiber modem.
I am able to connect to the Nest Router and enter all my network information using the Home app. The app then spends several minutes setting up my network with the entered information and tells me everything is almost complete before returning an error message - " errors resolving googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com:443:[field:hostname lookup error:address lookup failed for googlehomefoyer-pa:googleapis.com.: errorCode: -65568 "
I have searched reddit and google help databases and incorporated found advice including using iPad, turning of private relay, etc, all to no avail.
Extremely frustrating to say the least. Certainly not plug and play! Appreciate any direction you can provide.
I have had a prior Google mesh network with Google points that worked fine for years. I disabled/reset/unplugged all the old google points when trying to set up the new Google Nest Router, but consistently got the error above.

If you're connecting to the setup Wifi network being broadcast by the router so that the Google Home app can find it, once the app finds it, disconnect from its Wifi and reconnect back to your normal Wifi network before proceeding to the next step.
