All brand new equipment. Netgear Nighthawk CM1200 cable modem (standalone modem, no integrated Wifi, 4 Gig-E ports) successfully installed on Xfinity network. (Using the wired Ethernet port right now - blazing 887 Mbps - to submit this issue.) Fresh out of the box Nest WiFi Pro 6E repeatedly fails installation, complaining (via the Home App) that the modem isn't sending a signal (even when I use this exact same cable that is working right now.). I've rebooted everything numerous times. I've tried both the WiFi boxes (bought the two-pack). I've deleted and reinstalled the Home app on my Android phone (no problems connecting phone to the WiFi router). What's wrong with the Nest WiFi?

Hey @steveroddy .
The issue is with the Netgear modem. The modem doesn't appear to be in Bridge Mode which is causing the error you are getting. If the modem isn't bridged, it will not allow the traffic to pass through to an external router for traffic management. You will get internet connection if connected directly to the modem with a device but it will block it when setting up an external router.
