Wifi network with two google nest wifi router - Ethernet port?

Hello

If I create a wifi network with two google nest wifi routers, where one acts as a router (on the living room floor) and the other acts as a point (1st floor).

Is it then possible to use an ethernet cable from the router on the 1st floor router to a PC by using the ethernet port on the device?

Yes, that's possible. 🙂

You can even add a unmanaged switch to get more ethernet ports:

And you can have a cable between the primary puck to the 2nd point to get a wired backhaul between them, which is faster and more reliable than wireless backhaul.

I don't work for Google.

Hi, Pesen333.

It looks like olavrb was able to sort this one out for you, but I wanted to check in to see if there's anything else you needed on this or if you were all set. Let me know if there's more I can do for you.

Thanks.
