Trying to set up new wifi router. working through home app. gets to checking internet connection and stays there. I have tried different cables and ports, both on ISPs router and on switch.

I'm in the same boat. Spoke with Google Support and they were not able to resolve the issue.

Left the unit unplugged overnight and tried it again, and it decided to work. Other option is to do a factory reset ( I had to do this when I discovered that I misspelled the password when I entered it). Reset button is under the bottom label, above where it says Setup.
