Hi, the wifi from The Neat network seems to cut out every 30second for a second which makes video calls through Teams or Skype or Zoom veru disruptive. It does not happen when I connect my laptop directly to the original router / wifi network. Can you help?

Hi ThomasC,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your connection being unstable. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:
If you haven't yet, you could try the troubleshooting steps from this article to isolate the issue.
Thanks,
Edward

Hi Edward, thanks for replying!
- It happens continuously, i.e. every 30 seconds during a voice or video call with MS Teams or Skype it cuts out.
- When I connect my laptop directly to my router / wifi (instead of the Google Nest generated wifi network) it works fine
- It only happens when I use my work laptop. I wonder if my work VPN doesn't like the Google Nest network...
Let me know if you can help - Thomas

Hi Thomas,
I apologize for the late reply. To isolate the issue, could you try doing a speed test with and without your VPN so we could compare?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Edward

Hi,
I'm having exactly the same issue. My video calls quality are terrible when connected to Google Nest through my work VPN.
Also, running speed test with and without Google Nest, it looks like Google Nest caps my connection speed to 100Mbps
My work VPN is configured through PaloAlto firewall and GlobalProtect
