Whilst you cannot delete old devices manually, you can pause and unpause them. Old devices are supposed to get removed from the list after 60 days of being paused but I am aware there was an issue with that particular functionality, that if I recall correctly has since been fixed.

In any case, whether removed automatically or if you had the option to manually delete devices from the list, that device still knows your Wi-Fi network password and can re-join at any time if its in range. Deleting the device from the list does just that, deletes it from the list, its purely a cosmetic thing. To stop a device from re-joining your Wi-Fi network, you'd need to change the password.

They don't roll off after 30, 60, or even 90 days. They don't roll off after 720 days... I've had my network active for almost two years, and when we switched from Google Wi-Fi to Google Home, the problems started. I can see every device that's ever logged in, and some, like my phone, show up on the list every time I connect.... Meaning it shows Phil's Ultra several times. They're all offline except the current connection and I can't get rid of the others. All the Unnamed devices are what really bother me,  even after I took the initiative and named every device in the house, they STILL show up multiple times as Unnamed device...

I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however it's the best way to give your feedback on this and the team are still reading the feedback.

issue submitted, thanks!

Guru, will you please reply here if you get an answer? It sounds like this has been a known error since Google Home was made live, and Google just doesn't care to fix it.

It's a massive security issue that could lead to someone having a major breach... and Google wonders why people shooter ios devices instead of Samsung/Google devices.

I'm seriously considering dropping the Google mesh and going with another company.
