google nest cant create wifi network

I’ve had the nest wifi router since August last year, and I’ve never had router-related wifi issues until today. I just moved and when trying to set up my wifi this morning, the Google Home app keeps telling me “Request failed. Try again later” following “Creating your wifi network.” So the router is connected and the phone can connect to it, but it seems the router can’t create an actual network? I’m very confused…

I’ve done a factory reset 3 times, I’ve unplugged both the power and ethernet cable (from the wall and the router) The google home app and the router are both fully updated. I love an apartment with no access to a modem.

Im not trying to create a group or a mesh or whatever. It’s just the one router…

What can I do? I’m a university student, and I NEED the wifi to work!
