upgrade to Wifi 6 and use wifi 6--will my 1304 system work

if i upgrade to the wifi 6 modem, do i have to change my Google 1304 system that is connected to my modem?

You connect the primary Google Wifi unit to your modem using an ethernet cable, don't you? You'll still have to do that with a new modem. Thus change in Wi-Fi version won't affect it.

But be warned, as it sounds like you want to use your modem Wi-Fi together with Nest Wifi: This is known as double NAT and is not recommended. Either don't use Nest Wifi at all, or put the modem/ISP equipment in bridge mode, sometimes known as bypass mode. More on that:
