So if i buy nest wifi and 2 points, with the intention of hooking it up to my verizon fios, is there any other equipment i need. Do i need one of verizons mesh routers or do i simple connect the verizon cable to the google system?
thanks
gary
PS. I am going to wait for the nest wifi pro i believe
thanks again

Hi @glt - You will not need a verizon mesh router, your nest wifi pro has that already built in. Just connect your verizon cable to your Nest wifi router and it will automatically create a mesh with any other nest wifi points that you have.
Hope this helps!

No you do not need their router no doubt com though that they want to rent to you or sell no matter what they tell you!
You simply plug the Ethernet cable that is or isn't hanging out of your ONT box (where the fi in fios comes from the street to your house).Into the router puck. If there isn't an Ethernet cable you can open the ONT box with a penny or a flathead and plug one in or make it longer better quality cable etc. I pay 79.99 for 1Gb and have for years 3 different homes accept nothing less. Also, consider buying the new Nest Wi-Fi Pro with 6e as it isn't backward compatible with any of the old equipment! unfortunately!!!
