Hi - If I have 2 mesh nodes and my cable modem loses power.

Does client devices only connect to the master node or can they still connect to the secondary node ?

Hi, CocOnUtRKR.

To answer your question about device connections, your devices will connect to the WiFi points if they are the nearest WiFi device and are providing the best signal. The main point, your router, will also receive device connections, but it will not take priority over the WiFi points. Obviously you will need an active Internet connection for Internet access, but devices will remain connected to the points. Hopefully that answers your question. If you need more info, just let me know.

Thanks.

I am new to mesh technology and trying to understand if mesh connectivity within the home, is dependent on access to the internet or not.
