Hello, I asked this question a few months ago and the reply didn’t offer a solution and then the thread was locked. We have a guest house on AirBnb and I only want to allow the guest to access that Yale Nest lock. If I give them access to one lock they have access to all of them. The best I can see to do is to shut off the keypads on the locks they shouldn’t use but that’s not a solution. Please don’t lock this thread without offering some solutions. Thank you.

I have the same problem. It seems like there is no way to do this after reading other threads. This is absolutely pathetic. It would be a simple software update to allow guests access to only selected locks with their pin code.

Yeah, I’m really disappointed in Google on this. It does seem to be a simple software solution. We spent many thousands of dollars to make our whole B&B and AirBnb an integrated system through Google and now we’re stuck with removing the locks for this reason. Hopefully they respond and have a work around.

Just if you are looking for a solution, I did create a workaround. I made a new Gmail / google account for my rental suite. Then I had to remove the lock from my Nest app, factory reset the lock, and I logged into my new account on Nest and added the lock there. It also involved having to reset the Nest connect device which was a huge pain, but it's finally working.

Hi folks,
Sorry to hear about your experience with the Nest x Yale Lock. This feature is not available.
We appreciate your feedback and thanks for taking the time to share them to the Google Nest Community. Rest assured that we're always working on ways to improve.
As a workaround, you can move your Nest x Yale Lock that you will use commercially, to a different home. Only invite people you trust to become home members. When someone becomes a member of a home, they will have full access.
You can check this article on how to Share a home and devices in the Google Home app to learn more.
Regards,
Steve
