Calibrating Nest Yale Lock

Aerodame

Does this lock have the ability to calibrate its travel?  I find that even though it is very smooth and easy to lock/unlock with the manual deadbolt, about 50% of the time when it locks it complains that the door is not locked (but it is!).  Then later, when you try and unlock, it says it's jammed.  When I think manually unlock it I can feel a certain amount of "stiction" and have to force it mildly to get the deadbolt to open.

This does not seem to be friction from the door or deadbolt plate, but the internal stepper not driving correctly and possibly needs to be calibrated.

The instructions (and lack of UX on the Nest App) are incomplete.
