Hello,
I have recently installed the Nest Yale Lock. When testing it the deadbolt will come out about 95% of the way and then 'get stuck' you can hear the unit trying to attempt to fully lock it. This is without the door being closed to rule out the strike plate/wall cavity.
At first when I installed the unit there was no resistance and now I notice some resistance when locking the deadbolt at the last 5% of the way.
I've already used some lubricant on the deadbolt. What else can I try?
In reality, even though it says it 'cannot lock' the deadbolt is extended most of the way so the door is actually locked. The deadbolt just doesnt go far enough for the unit itself to consider it being fully locked.
