Effect on video surveillance once NEST Secure is discontinued

Now that NEST Secure is being discontinued I will be replacing it, probably with the ADT system, the startup package of which plus one year of professional alarm monitoring is being offered free of charge.  My question is will ADT provide video surveillance and video cloud storage similar to that which I have been using and at a similar price as the NEST Secure?

The video surveillance offered by Nest is separate from the Nest Secure.  It won't go away.  Or you could opt in to the add-on from ADT which includes Nest Aware.

Thanks for your reply.  I was confused regarding the difference between NEST Secure and NEST Aware.  I now realize that it is the NEST Secure (alarm system, motion detectors, etc.) that is being discontinued.  NEST Aware (cameras, video monitoring, etc.) is being retained.  Thanks again.

Hi folks,

The support and functionality in the Nest app for Nest Secure will be discontinued on April 8, 2024. To learn more about Nest Secure’s update and exclusive offer for a Self Setup System from ADT, take a look at this link

Thanks,
