Hacking my phone without permission

Agonzalez

This evening I got locked out of my email because someone hooked up one of these nest to my phone. I’m pretty pissed off because I’m a victim of identity theft and I recently found out someone changed my life insurance policy . So now this nest is going on, how can I get someone to stop nesting my phone. All these little classes are just another form of robbing someone

Hi @Agonzalez

Google Home and Google Nest devices themselves can't be used to compromise an account, so it's very unclear how your account was compromised from what you've described. In any case, best to focus your time and energy on recovering your account if you've lost access to it.

Use the Account Recovery Tool to recover your account. Please note the following important information:

  • The account recovery tool is the only way Google provides to recover your account.
  • Google don't provide phone, chat, or email support with account recovery.
  • Only you can recover your account.
You'll be asked some questions to confirm it's your account, answer as best as you can. If prompted for why you cannot access your account, be sure to mention your account has been hacked and the circumstances surrounding it.

If your recovery methods have been changed, you should enter the information that you provided when the account was created. You typically have 7 days since your account was compromised whereby Google will allow you to use your previous recovery methods.
  • If you're having trouble, try these tips to complete the account recovery steps.
  • If you're still having trouble, take a look at the advice in this article.
I cannot recommend these two resources enough; do not skip reading them. They both contain a lot of useful information that may help to increase your chances of a successful account recovery.

For further help and support with account recovery, we recommend posting in the Google Account community where experts can better assist.
