How to remove nest connect from nest app?

I used to have Nest Protect until that was spun-off to ADT. Now I'm trying to reconnect my Yale locks using Nest Connect (I have two Connects, one for front door and the other for the back). I have done a factory reset on both my Yale locks but the Nest Connect will not communicate with either lock. When trying to pair the pulsing blue light always turns yellow, never green. There is no way to remove the Connect devise from my home app on my iPhone, even though the AI assistant says there is under settings. This is wrong. I would like to remove everything and start over but even deleting the app and reinstalling it doesn't clear the Connect devise. Please help me delete my Nest Connect so I can start over. Yale locks are worthless without Connect working as promised.

Hi @aleaddict

Have you tried factory resetting your Nest Connect? Whilst connected to power, press and hold down the button until the light turns yellow, then blue, then pulsing blue. You can release the button when it starts pulsing blue.

Hi @aleaddict

Well, good news. I followed your directions but was not able to get the blue, then pulsing blue after the yellow  light. BUT, I checked the app on my iPhone and was ready to delete it when I noticed an option to remove the Connect devise. This was never an option before so perhaps I did reset to factory settings or maybe there was a firmware push?.. idk. Either way, I added both Connect devises to my home app and now my Yale locks are fully operational. Thank you @David_K for your guidance.

Glad to hear that!
