The lock has been working for 2 years and not without problems. The issue lies in the screen not being active for key entry. I have since been using the app to lock unlock. Now today I come home to an offline lock and a pregnant wife who needs to be in the house.
Tried lowering up the lock with the 9v battery but nothing happens. I have a locksmith on the way. Meanwhile I tried break the lock and now it is making all kinds of beeping noises. This tells me it wasn't a battery issue to begin with. The screen started to work erratically as expected after I crushed the front panel.
This lock sits facing sunlight and I am not sure if it was tested for that causing the screen to die out or if it was some connection issues.
I am done with this product and going back to August lock.
I am hardcore Google user but this one is not up to Google standards
