Hi,
I'm getting critical low battery alerts on my Yale lock after replacing the batteries less than one month ago. This is the 2nd time in a row that I've had to replace batteries after less than a month. I've had 2 Yale locks and in the past batteries have lasted for a long time. My current lock was installed about 1 year ago.
I'm using brand new Duracell Coppertop batteries. There was a thread about this issue in 2023 but I didn't see a solution that I haven't tried.
Between the extensive measures necessary to get my nest connect + lock back online after power outages or wifi issues and now this battery issue, I'm seriously frustrated with this product.

And to answer questions from the other thread, temperature has been between 60 & 80°, the lock is in a shaded location, and there hasn't been any more activity than normal based on 6 years of using this project.

Hi Staceysb,
Thank you for posting here in the community. I'm sorry that your battery drained so quickly. I understand how frustrating it is, especially if you already replaced the batteries, but still it doesn't work. Help's here.
I just want to confirm a few questions to better understand and help you with your issue.
Does your lock appear in the Google Home or Nest App?
When did the issue start?
Does the lock turn on at all?
Please keep me posted. I'll look into your response.
Regards,
Byron
