Nest connect will not connect

I have tried numerous times to connect the Nest connect and connect get it ti connect.  I even tried putting the thermostat onto my hotspot to try to connect to a different network to see if that was the issue. Did not fix it. I get the NA003 , blue light blinks, cant connect. I do not get the solid yellow light, however I do get a yellow light blinking. I then press the button and get a blinking blue. Still no result.

Let's try some troubleshooting steps:

 

  • Restart the phone or tablet: A simple restart can often resolve connection problems. 
  • Restart the Nest Connect: This will help you to reboot the device. Follow these steps to Restart Nest Connect.
  • Reset the Nest Connect: A factory reset of Nest Connect might be necessary.
  • Move Nest Connect closer: During setup, try placing Nest Connect closer to your Wi-Fi router for a stronger signal.

  • Thanks it started a week ago Saturday. I tried unplugging it and cycling power to the locks.  No luck

Thanks for the follow-up and your efforts in taking the troubleshooting steps before. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Connect won't connect.

 

Try the troubleshooting steps here:

 

Factory Reset your Nest Connect: Performing a factory reset will erase all settings and remove the Nest Connect from your Nest account.

 

  • Hold the wake button down for 13 seconds or until the LED turns solid yellow.
  • Once the LED turns a solid yellow, continue to hold down the wake button for another 10 seconds. If the button is released before the 10 seconds are up, the factory reset will fail.
    • To cancel, press the button again.
  • After 10 seconds, release the button. The LED will stop and the settings will now be erased. There will also be a notification that the Nest Connect is offline.

Factory Reset your Nest Yale Lock: You may need to factory reset the Google Nest × Yale Lock to resolve some issues. Follow these steps to Factory reset the Nest × Yale Lock.

Not sure why they closed this. My connect went offline AGAIN.  My locks are each 3lbs of Google electronic waste. I have slowly gotten rid of nest products, I guess I will have to spend more money to replace the locks now.  That will leave me with smoke detectors and a thermostat to deal with.
