Starting today our Nest Lock is unable to open with anyone’s code( we have 4 different codes). We are able to unlock it via the app and via the thumb lock. Looking inside the app all our codes are still the same and privacy lock is not on. Literally nothing has changed. What do I need to do?

Hi @Leviticus!
I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Lock codes aren't working. This can definitely be frustrating, but let's see if we can get it fixed.
Since you can still unlock the door with the app and thumb lock, it sounds like the lock itself is functioning properly. The issue seems to be isolated to the keypad.
Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
Battery Check: Let's start with the most common culprit - low batteries. Even if the Nest app hasn't alerted you yet, low batteries can cause the keypad to malfunction. Go ahead and replace the batteries with fresh, standard AA alkaline batteries. Avoid using rechargeable batteries, as they can have different voltages. [3]
Restart the Lock: A simple restart can sometimes clear up glitches. Try removing one of the batteries for 20 seconds and then putting it back in. Leave the battery cover off for now while we troubleshoot further.
Keypad Cleanliness: Make sure the keypad is clean and free of any debris that might be preventing the buttons from registering properly. You can try wiping it down with a soft, dry cloth.
Code Verification: Double-check that you and your family members are entering the codes correctly. It's easy to accidentally mistype a number, especially when you're trying to get inside quickly.
Nest Connect Restart: If you have a Nest Connect bridge that your Nest Lock uses to connect to Wi-Fi, try restarting it. Unplug it from the power outlet for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and wait for the light to turn green.
Let me know if you try any of these steps and if you have any questions along the way. We'll get your Nest Lock working again in no time!
Best,
Brandon.
