I have been using Nest Secure Alarm Systems at work and home for several years, with many cameras and many door/window sensors. They have been an overall success with only minor problems. I have not migrated to google home, still on nest app. When this system is no longer supported in late 2022, what happens? Does my system continue to function, just no updates? Will I be able to attach the system to a new location/wifi when I move? The terminology of "no longer supported" needs some clarification for me to understand. As an example, when windows old versions were no longer supported, that meant that they didn't get updates, not that they ceased to exist or function as previous. Just trying to get a handle on this before it happens. Does anybody have answers?

How about you answer @YankeeM's question. I also just bought a Nest Secure and was about to get into the Google ecosystem with the Nest doorbell and Nest security cameras and Google Wifi and Google Max tablets. Google discontinuing the Nest Secure put a sudden brake to my plans. What is going on with the future of Google's smart home and security systems?

Hey folks.
The Nest Secure system is no longer being pushed, so we have limited options for troubleshooting as most of the devices have been discontinued. If you would like more information, please contact Support.
Best regards,
Brad.
