I have tried everything in the support doc below to connect the lock (4-5 hours of time) and nothing has worked, I work in tech and know what I'm doing, has this worked for anyone recently? Any other solutions than returning it and moving to a different brand. I have nest thermostats, cameras and google cams etc. that work. But will move to another system if this doesn't work.

Spent fiver hours on the phone with google on Saturday and sunday. Thought I would try and remove the lock and connect and take them to a different network. Was in the process of doing this Sunday when the google rep said I needed the lock set up where it would be installed. Nevertheless they were unable to get it connected that weekend. I removed the lock and connect yesterday and took them to a friends house (different network) and the devices paired in five minutes. This morning a reconnected the nest connect to my network and everything works great. This is kind of similar to connecting to a hotspot on your phone, but I do not have cell service where my lock is located. Hope this helps someone.

Hey Dkramer1,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I want to check if you are still in need of any help.
If so, since your Nest x Yale Lock connects to another internet connection, the situation may be with the Wi-Fi configuration, and you may have to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Also, you may check to see what's interfering with the connection. Draw an imaginary straight line between your Nest Connect or Nest Guard and your lock. Any time the line is blocked by something big or heavy, it might cause interference. Thick walls, furniture, appliances, and other electronics can reduce the range. Troubleshoot wireless interference and how to troubleshoot it by following this guide.
Best,
Zoe
