Nest x Yale lock setup issues

Greetings gang,

 

Installing a second best lock, but unable to get the setup portion completed. When putting batteries in the lock. I get some audible beeps, but the unit never speaks. Additionally, the keypad is unresponsive. 

I’ve tried changing batteries. Reseating the connector and even a factory reset. Still no luck. 

if you all have anything else i could try it would be much appreciated.

Have you seen any icon displayed at the bottom of your Nest × Yale Lock? If so, can you describe how it looks like?

Unfortunately,  the touchpad is totally dark, no lights or anything. 😩

Thanks for getting back to us. What type of batteries did you used to replace the Nest × Yale Lock? Are they four standard AA alkaline batteries? Also, please check the deadbolt if it is jammed, as you won't be able to lock or unlock your door using the Nest app or keypad if the bolt is jammed. The thumb turn will only be usable inside your house.

Hello! Apologies for the delayed reply. i used Duracell standard AA batteries. Checked the deadbolt and it turns will little to no resistance. Happy to try anything else you need to help troubleshoot.
