Problems with adding a new guest

When I log in to add a guest to home entry I get a pop up that say “something went wrong,  try again later” this has been happening for 2 weeks.  I’ve already deleted and redownloaded the app.  Tried on multi devices and no / off of same Wi-Fi network.

Thanks for posting in the Community and for sharing all the steps you’ve tried to fix the issue. I’d be glad to help you with this. Let’s check it out.

 

Please follow the steps below to make sure everything is up-to-date:

 

  1. Check for iOS updates and install them if there’s any.
  2. Uninstall the Nest app.
  3. Restart the mobile device.
  4. Reinstall the Nest app and sign in as the homeowner.
  5. To create a new passcode for someone, you’ll need to add them to your Nest home. Then the Nest app will automatically generate a passcode for them.
