1. First, make sure that you remove a previously installed Nest Connect using the Nest App
2. Whether plugged, or unplugged, push on the Nest Connect button, and hold until you see a solid yellow light, then let go of the button and wait until the Nest Connect factory resets itself, which is complete when the yellow light turns off after about 10 seconds.
3. Then you can add the Nest X Yale Lock by using the Nest App. If needed, do a factory reset of the the Yale Lock, before adding it again.
