X Yale lock not triggering alarm

X Yale locks showing in Nest app but not being triggered by Nest Secure. They are listed under devices and I can lock/unlock within the app, but they are not listed under the Nest Secure devices that are being monitored. Opening these doors do not trigger the alarm

Thanks for posting in our Community. Let’s get this sorted out.

You can only use the Nest x Yale Lock to disarm the Nest Secure. The lock cannot be used to arm Nest Secure because there are many times when you may want to lock your door without arming your system. To trigger the alarm when the door is opened, you need to install a Nest Detect.
