I have owned a Yale Nest Lock for approximately 4 years. Since day one the tamper Alarm sounds at random intervals and for no reason. I have spent hours on the phone with support only to be told the same advice. The connector cable between the front of the lock and inside of the lock is not seated properly.
This is useless advice. The build and design of this lock is defective.
I have tried tapping the connection in place and have spent so much time trying to get the cable perfect yet the alarm still sounds.
It looks like i am the owner of a really expensive paperweight. For the cost of this lock I would have expected it to last longer then four years.
Does anyone have any aftermarket fixes? Because Yale / Nest just told me sorry its past the warranty - sucks to be you.
