Yale door lock no longer sending notifications with specific name of user who unlocked the door.

The unlock notifications I'm getting are no longer showing who unlocked my Nest Yale lock. When I first installed it, the notification would state "XXX unlocked the front door" and now it only says that the "front door was unlocked. It wasn't all at once but happened over a few months. 

Anybody know what I might have done to cause this to happen or how I can fix it?

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you do not receive notifications when someone unlocks your Nest Yale Lock. I'm happy to assist you!

Before we continue, I need to ask some questions to better understand the situation:

  • Have you noticed any Wi-Fi connection issues with your Nest Yale Lock?

  • Make sure notifications and emails are set correctly for each device you have.

    • On the Nest app.
    • On the home screen, tap Settings > Nest settings icon > Notifications.
    • Select the product you want to change notifications for.
