I own two nest Connect units. I mistakenly thought I needed two units because I have two Nest +Yale locks. However, my two locks are located very closely together. I figure I only need a single nest connect now. If I unplug my nest connect, how long will the backup battery last? If I allow it to die, would I be able to plug the connector back into wall and recharge the batteries in order to use it once again in the future? Thanks!

Hi Garvo,
Thanks for reaching out. Though I'm not familiar with the Nest Connect's backup battery, you can plug it on your power outlet whenever you want to use it.
You can check this article about FAQs about Nest Connect for more info.

Steve
