nest connect doesn't.. connect

Hi.  We bought a nest connect with yale lock.  the connect wont connect with our wifi 2.4ghz.  The router is located close to the connect.  I have tried factory resetting.  there are no other nest/google home products.   Please help.

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

• What kind of error message do you have?
• What’s the color of the LED status light of your Nest Connect?
