4 spinning dots

I turn my Max off overnight (hilariously to try and fix the broken camera issue). Since last Wednesday both the nest hub maxes have gone into 4 spinning dots when they've turned back on. The voice works but the device screen never moves beyond the spinning dots. This is so very terrible. I feel like these devices have been left to die.

1 in 10 times it fully reboots. But usually after several hours.

Hi @dashdotian

Did you try a factory reset for your Nest Hub Max?
Please keep in mind if you do a factory rest you have to set it up like a new device in your Google Home app.
Also be sure to remove it from the Home app before doing the setup. 🙂

About 8 times so far.

Hi @dashdotian

Hmm that doesn't sound good.
Did you also try to keep it powerless for a few hours to see if that helps?

Yes. I've tried a mix of leaving the power off and even leaving it on. This happens on both devices though.

I haven't had the camera working on either device for weeks now (camera setup sometimes works when I reset it, sometimes it times out, and the camera working never lasts (this is an open issue elsewhere I believe)).

After deciding not to reboot the devices ever, this morning I was greeted by a black screen which required a reboot. After the reboot? Yes, 4 spinning dots, again.
