Audio delay when watching video

adkozak

Hi,

I have a following issue and couldn't even find whether it is an expected behavior:

I have Google Nest Audio speaker and try to cast sound to it while watching video on the original device:

- from my Android Phone (Google Home app -> Cast my audio)

- from my Google Chrome browser on laptop (Ubuntu)

Whenever I play a video, either from YouTube or Netflix, there is a delay of the sound behind the video.

Am I using it for a usecase it wasn't meant to be used, or is there something I can do to fix the issue? Thanks!

Yup me too, just trying to cast audio from my browser to a nest but video is ahead of the audio on the nest by maybe 0.25 seconds. How do I fix?
