Black screen on display

My home hub- 2 years old - as of today only has a black screen, no photos or info. The speaker works and I have reset it and unplugged it multiple times. Any help???

Hey Farmyup,

 

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear about your Google Nest Hub - we'd love to help. Please send us a video showing the issue to have a better picture of what's happening on your device. Also, try to reset your device again and check if you can see the firmware version from the Google Nest Hub screen.

 

Follow the steps below to know-how:

 

  1. Reset your Google Nest Hub by pressing and holding both volume buttons together, at the back of the Nest Hub, for about 10 seconds. You'll hear your Google Assistant confirm that it's resetting the Nest Hub.
  2. Once the device is fully restarted, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, then look for "Settings" (gear icon) > about the device. Look for the word "Operating system."
