Hello, I can't play my local NPR station on ANY of my Google Nest or Home devices. (I own several of each.)
"Play NPR" plays a few local independent radio stations, NEITHER of which is NPR.
"Play VPM News" usually prompts an error, because Google hears "V" as a "B." In 10 attempts, I may get it to play VPM once.
The same issue occurs with "Play WVTF." And it's not just me; I do not know anyone who can reliably get Google to play VPM or WVTF on their devices.

Hi streever,
I would suggest setting up a custom routine. I have one specifically for NPR since my devices would play a different city's station. Now I have it set up so I just say NPR and the correct one plays. This should also work for you.
Example: When I say to my Assistant "NPR" under actions "play WVTF from Tunein"
This should play the correct station just by you saying Okay Google, NPR.
The same for setting up one for VPM.

Great. Glad to hear you got that working. I found custom routines to be the best solution for a few things..NPR being one of them.😉
Enjoy!
