Cookies being reset in nest hub max's browser

When using the Nest Hub Max's browser (Fuchsia OS), cookies seems to be reset each time it is used. Is this a specification of the Fuchsia browser?

Previously, I think the cookies were reset only when the device was rebooted.

I also have this issue. I want to visit a web page I have previously logged into. On a computer the login details are retained. On the hub max it requires all the login details to be entered again.

I got the hub max for my 90yr old father. His idea of a password is "123". Typing in a strong password is beyond his skills.
