Google HUB stopped working

Hi My hub is stuck on the start up screen with the white ‘G’ and a grey background - was working fine then just went to this screen have turned it off and on numerous times plus tried a factory reset but it just goes to a blank white screen 

 

really disappointed any help please ?

I'm having the same issue.  I did the factory reset, and It's still stuck on the gray screen with a G logo.

Still not working tried everything ee end the form you sent won’t submit, gutted as this was the chime for my doorbell 

I have still had no luck with my hub.  I have tried multiple outlets,  I have done the factory reboot several times and it still comes up to the logo screen.

Thanks for bringing this up. Apologize for the late response. I know how difficult it can be not to have a working device when needed. This is related to a similar trending issue on this link. Rest assured that our team is aware of this and is already looking into it.

 

  • Have you tried plugging the device to a different power outlet?
  • When was this issue (stuck on gray G logo) first noticed?
  • Was the device already in this state when you first discovered it?
  • If no, were you in the middle of interacting with the device when it happened? If so, what were you trying to do?
  • Did you unplug the device or was there a power outage shortly before you discovered this issue?
  • What are the troubleshooting steps you've already tried?

 

Please try these steps below that may help us fix the issue:

 

  1. Place the device in Recovery Mode (unplug the device then hold down (long press) the volume up and volume down buttons while you plug the device back in. Release the volume button once the device turns back on.)
  2. Attempt a factory reset once the device boots into Recovery Mode (hold down (long press) both volume up and volume down buttons at the same time.)

Hi Muddi,

 

I have tried all the options that you have mentioned and it won’t boot into recovery mode,  regarding when this happened I just noticed that the screen had gone grey with a white ‘G’ 

I am really disappointed as I use this as the chime for my Google doorbell 😞

Answers to the questions
Yes
I just noticed that the screen had gone blank I wasn’t using it
 No power cut or outage
Tried re starting it
Tried factory reset - counts the 10 seconds the. Screen goes white and nothing happens

So shall i just bin this product as not working and get a new one?
