Google Home doesn't display word being spelled

It seems like lately, my Google display doesn't show the word I have asked it to spell anymore. This was so helpful. Now I have to ask it multiple times as it spells the word but sometimes I miss a letter. This change is so annoying. Is there a setting I can change to go back too the old way of displaying the word?

It seems Google Nest changed this recently, and there doesn't seem to be any setting.

I noticed that as well. Best thing to do is send feedback

You can just tell your device to share feedback and then record your message. You can also send feedback via the Google Home app.
