Google Nest Hub Max***Elderly parent voice recognition problem

Hi. Bought Google Nest Hub Max for my elderly mum a few years ago, brilliant music sound etc, but she's not tech savvy, neither am i, but use Google Home app to set up on my Google account. After updating there after new Virgin Media wifi router, it updated, but prefer old version. Simpler. Anyway, is it advisable to create Google Account for my mu for her preferences? Only problem is she doesnt have a smartphone. Only a cheap Dora mobile phone. Any advice???

Hi ColinNestHubMax,

If you don't live in the same house as your mother it is advisable to create a separate Google account for her. You can do this from your mobile device, you can have multiple Google accounts on one device.

Having just your account on the Google Nest hub max could allow all your personal information to be displayed and interfere with music playback and also cause issues if you also have Google Home/Nest devices in a different home.

Let us know if you have any further questions or need any further advice.

Regards,
Cathal
