My Google Nest Hub Max shows me reminders that are due or overdue, with a checkmark. When I touch the checkmark it says it does not recognize my voice and suggests I go to Google Assistant to train it. My Google Home Mini has no issue nor does my phone. Why would I have to do this every time? I wasn't speaking either, I was "clicking" with my finger.

First, make sure: Your Google Nest or Home speaker or display is powered on and plugged into a wall outlet. The microphone isn't muted. For Google Home: On the back of the device, touch the microphone mute button.

It's not that it doesn't hear me. It responds when I speak to it. My issue is that when I TOUCH the checkmark on a reminder card it then says it doesn't recognize me.

Hi folks,
@MikeClark, thanks for the help.
@brianscoop, that is interesting. As you've mentioned, there are no concerns when it comes to voice commands using your Nest Hub Max and your Google Home Mini, right? But when on your Nest Hub Max screen, it says it doesn't recognize your voice? Thanks for the info, it really helped a lot isolating your concern. We first need to check the "Personal Results" if it's enabled on your devices and re-train the voice match. Follow the steps below:
