My Google Nest Hub Max shows me reminders that are due or overdue, with a checkmark. When I touch the checkmark it says it does not recognize my voice and suggests I go to Google Assistant to train it. My Google Home Mini has no issue nor does my phone. Why would I have to do this every time? I wasn't speaking either, I was "clicking" with my finger.
First, make sure: Your Google Nest or Home speaker or display is powered on and plugged into a wall outlet. The microphone isn't muted. For Google Home: On the back of the device, touch the microphone mute button.
@MikeClark, thanks for the help.
@brianscoop, that is interesting. As you've mentioned, there are no concerns when it comes to voice commands using your Nest Hub Max and your Google Home Mini, right?
