Google home hub stuck on clock

Any fix for this issue?  Can only use voice commands due to unit stuck on clock.  Can’t swipe for anything.  Have to unplug to reboot.  Thanks.

Hi @ronellen11

You can do a phyical factory reset to see if that fixes. On the back of Nest Hub, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub will let you know that it's resetting.

Hello, thank you for the response. Tried that with the same result ☹️. I think google needs a fix with an update.  I think this started with the latest update.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for posting.

Sorry to hear about this.

@JillG, thanks for sharing some steps to try on. I appreciate your help.

@everyone, could anyone here attach a photo of your Google Nest Hub's display and if it's possible, can you please provide us the cast firmware version of your Google Nest display.

To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings and then Device information.
  5. Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Princess
