After a brief power outage overnight, I found that my Google mini won't connect to my smartlife switch. I never had a problem before and everything else connects fine.

Let's see what's going on with your device. what's the exact command you've used? Also, are you getting any message on your Google Home Mini when controlling your Smartlife switch? Also, can you still use your Google Home Mini's other features?
Give these steps a try:
Reboot your Google Home Mini, Smartlife switch and router to refresh the connection.
Say the voice command, “Hey Google, sync all devices."
Unlink and relink your Smartlife account.
