I cannot disable youtube on my google nest hub mmax device

Kids are misusing my google display device for endless youtube video watching. I can't really disable yt on router or opendns, since then it won't be enabled on the home LAN.

And I also can't enter digital wellbeing settings, because I get the error: cannot open settings. I use english language on the display, but I am not sure if it is UK or USA. Also there is no language selection option on the iphone home app.

Hi bizz,

Thanks for reaching out. With Google Home app content filters, you can block explicit music and video content from YouTube and other music or radio services from playing on Google Nest and other Assistant-enabled speakers and displays. Check out the helpful link below to know more about it.

Also, here are the steps on how to change your Google Assistant language.

  1. On your mobile device, open the Google Home app .
  2. Tap Settings and then Google Assistant and then Manage all Assistant settings.
  3. Tap Languages and then Choose languages for speaking to your Assistant and then Select the current language set.
  4. Choose from the list of available languages.

I hope this helps.
