I have had this issue start a few days ago…when I ask for something on google I have two or three of them responding at once. Doing a google search took me to a post where it seems many people are having the same issue. Can you look into this please?

Same here I have one google home mini for its intended use but two JBL MusicLink speakers also in the same room, just for music. They have started responding. Am I supposed to just mute them and deal with the orange bar at the top? This wasn't an issue until the latest Android update.
I've gone into my account and removed assistant from all devices and two are still responding. Wtf

I was wondering about the last Android update too after you mentioned it. I hadn't thought about the connection until just now.
I had an open support ticket for another issue with my Google home setup that has been escalated to tier 2 and I let them know about this issue in a follow up email on my case. Hopefully the right people will look at it and investigate the bug and get back to me with more information or something. I can give them the information about all these threads so they can track this issue better. Since it takes forever to reach support these days it might be the better option. I'd be happy to repost when they email back unless it resolves with an update before then.

Having the same exact issue.
It would seem that the speakers are no longer checking which one will reply and they all reply if they heard you.
Something is broken indeed.
Has anyone found a solution?

I just installed an update to the Google app on my phone and the behavior seems to be slowly working itself out. Sometimes the wrong device responds but the chorus of responses has stopped. I've tested with and without background noise. Start checking for any app updates. Just as a sidenote though, I am running the beta version of the Google app.

I am also experiencing this issue with up to 4 devices trying to complete my commands. This often results in 1 doing it and others getting errors.

I can vouch for this! Seems the latest update is trying to get me fit by running around trying to listen to googles replies as it spits it from a different home ha
System doesnt know which home is the one being activated and replies on all 😞
This has happened before also the same for my nest access point aswell

Hey there,
Thanks for visiting the Community.
Since this thread hasn't had activity in a while, we're going to close it to keep content fresh. I would recommend resetting the devices that are having trouble. We hope you were able to get the help you need, but if the issue persists feel free to create a new thread, and provide as many details as possible so that others can lend a hand.
Best regards,
