Hello, I have a Marshall Stanmore 2 speaker with Google voice and several Google Home speakers. The multiroom worked well before, but with the Google/Sonos problem it hasn't worked for a long time.
The firmware version of my Marshall is 1.40.168834 but Marshall does not want to update it to 1.52.2722... This is unacceptable on their part !
Anyone got a solution ?
Thank you

Hey Pamgui1,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community and sorry for the delayed response.
Please note that we have very limited support on third party speakers with built-in Google Assistant like Marshall. You might need to reach out to them for better assistance.
Speaking on behalf of our Google Home speakers and displays, most of our devices receive an update over-the-air to allow them to continue to function properly. Visit this link to know more about Google speaker and display firmware versions and release notes
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hello,
I know there is nothing you can do, but Marshall abandons the speakers with google voice and does not want to update the firmware. It's a shame !

Hey Pamgui1,
I understand how you feel. Google doesn't have a way to release an update on Marshall speakers. Also, firmware updates on devices are needed for it to work properly on third-party apps like music and video services. It's still best if you could reach out to the team on their Community forum so they can forward the feedback on their team.
It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.
Cheers,
Muddi
