My single Google Speaker will not play my PC audio

Portwes
Community Member

My PC bluetooth recognizes the Google Speaker.
The Google Speaker recognizes my PC laptop (Dell Inspiron 14)

But I can NOT get the PC audio to play through the Google speaker.

I've spent hours trying to get it to work! Thanks for any help.

Thanks! I've been extremely busy, so I apologize for not responding sooner.

Again, I've tried everything suggested. But my Alexa Echo plays my PC audio just fine. But even IF I delete my Echo Dot speaker from bluetooth devices, I STILL cannot get my Google Speaker to play audio from my PC, even though it IS listed in my PC bluetooth settings as a recognized device ("Living Room Speaker"). The audio quality on my google speaker is far better than my Alexa Echo Dot speaker, but I just can't get the Living Room Speaker to play anything from my PC Dell laptop (Inspiron 14).

Hey Portwes,

We're sorry for the trouble this has caused you. Could you try saying "Ok Google, clear all paired devices" Also, check for possible nearby interference sources like other Bluetooth devices, high voltage appliances, or devices connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If possible, place both devices in the same room. If the issue persists, try resetting your Google Home.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Alex
