The latest in a long line of Nest displays, and this is the first time I've seen this. Search yielded nothing, but typing in this subject showed an identical problem:
But no solution. I've factory reset and gone through setup again, the signal (via latest gen Nest WiFi mesh network, less than 10 feet away in clear line of sight to the mesh point) is excellent, and got an identical result. I let it sit overnight, and it's still showing this morning. No response to "Hey Google", although I can link the camera through the Nest app, and view it with both the Home app and the Nest app.
If this is a hardware problem, I have 13 days left to return this and get a replacement.

Thanks, but no need. I called support after repeated attempts to get it configured and while I was on hold made a last attempt, to get it back to the stuck spot. Of course that time it went through and worked.
