Nest Hub Rebooting

Hi

My Hun Nest is rebooting every night between 3-4 am I have my radio playing and every morning when I wake it is not playing my radio I have factory reset and rebooted many times but hasn't fixed the problem please advise me or do a update to fix this please.

Not Happy

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to check in and ensure you had been helped. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble with your device not playing music in the mornings for you, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Sorry to hear you are still having issues with the device restarting on its own every night. This is definitely not ideal, and I would like to look further into the issue for you. Do you mind me asking if you have checked the current firmware on your device? It may just need an update to resolve the issue. Please let me know if that helps, or if you are still having trouble.

Yes it is the current firmware and have reset it twice I am getting so sick of this device wish I could return it but I can't I think google needs to get their act together and fix this **bleep** thing

Hi Jake
I am so pissed off with Google they have made a very small effort to fix this rebooting no nothing is fixed and takes you and Google so long to get back to your paying customers it shows me that Google only cares for themselves and making money with out customer support. I am not the only one in this situation you have many more customer having the same problem and with no help as well.

My Nest Hub 2 also reboots several times a week around 3am, with a very bright screen waking me up each time 😠

It would be nice that either:

  • we can choose the time of the updates (the Google Support confirmed me that it is currently "hardcoded" that the updates are around 3am / 4am)
  • the screen remains dark after a reboot during the night
  • the update downloads during the night, but it applies at the next manual reboot
  • the time remains displayed if you turn off the wifi during the night (it would be nice in any case)
