Nest Hub not Showing weather

performed master reset even created a new home bust still the same issue

> tapping on the weather , response will be uaually accdg to wikepedia

> asking whats the weather either i dont understand or wilk be routed to search

 

what else can i do to fix this?

Hi Guys -

The issue with my Nest Hub can be marked as resolved. just to share steps taken.

  • Uninstalled Google Home App
    • Using multiple device (non Android and IOS), since that most of my device is using the either EMUI 12 and Harmony OS, whenever updates have been performed it do not sync with other app in other devices. instead I retained the app with my phone that is still using Android Tech
  • Play with the provinces / Town /Municipality /City 
    • following what that have been shared. Tried playing with the address. and after performing it come up with the solution that Infanta, Quezon, Philippines for some reason is not registered.

thank you all for the Ideas and help in fixing the issue.

Hey junenomad,

 

That's certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's check this out.

 

What's the exact command you've used? Make sure your home and work address are correct.

 

  1. Make sure the customer's mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as the speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app.
  3. At the top-right, tap the account icon. Verify that the Google Account on screen is the one linked to the speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap the dropdown arrow > choose another account or Add another account.
  4. Tap Assistant Settings.
  5. Tap You > Your places.

Hi Alex - 

all devices that includes the speakers are connected to one WIFI only. check the your places however tried tapping Navigate and prompted me to assist app setting >> and for the Voice input and for the assist app there is no other option but NONE.

Understood. Have you tried reinstalling your Google Home app? Are you using an Android or iOS? Also, what country are you located in?

yes, already performed uninstalling and re-installing the app. I am using Huawei phones current OS EMUI12 and Harmony OS. Located in the Philippines.
