This device is so slow to answer question and also drops from Bluetooth often. In comparison to the mini 2nd gen is quick to respond and more reliable. Can I speed up the response time?

My apologies for the delays. I know how it feels when there's something wrong with your device. A few questions: when did the issue start? How far is the Google Nest Audio from your router? What is the firmware version of your device? Also, send us a recording of what's happening so we can take a closer look at what's happening to your device.

It would a positioned about 1meter from the Bt hub.
System firmware version: 306594
Cast firmware: 1.56.306594

Gotcha. Could you try resetting your Nest Audio and set it up using a mobile hotspot to isolate if it's a network related issue.
